Home in Groesbeck

This home had multiple leak issues stemming from hail damage to the barrel-style metal roof. The roof was replaced with an upgraded Stone-Coated Steel DECRA® Villa Tile - a product known for its durability and need for little to no maintenance.

The homeowners didn’t have gutters on their home before the storm and wanted to add protection for the foundation of their home. Commercial-grade 6-inch copper-color aluminum gutters were selected to protect the foundation while micro-mesh leaf screens were used to help prevent the gutters from getting clogged with leaves from the numerous trees near the home.

Rain chains were added in place of traditional downspouts on the corners of the home to add an aesthetically pleasing element and to boost visual appeal of the property.

As with all roofing jobs we perform, all flashing was replaced and ice and water shield was used in all valleys and roof penetrations. In addition to synthetic underlayment being used in place of traditional roofing felt, this provides a waterproof barrier on the roof of the home to help ensure that water has no way of entering through the roof and damaging the interior of the home.
