Home in Richardson

This beautiful home in Richardson, TX suffered damage to the roof, gutters, pool and wrought-iron gate in a typical Texas hail storm. As with all jobs, Linear Roofing & General Contractors, LLC provided assistance in all areas of storm damage.

The more than 6,500 square-foot home’s roof was covered with synthetic underlayment and specialty shingle. CertainTeed Independence® shingles were selected in Colonial Slate color to provide outstanding visual appeal with a great warranty against manufacturing defects, streaking and discoloration caused by airborne algae. CertainTeed Shadow Ridge® shingles were selected for their specific compatability with Independence® shingles.

The gutters suffered enough damage from the storm to require complete replacement as well. They were replaced with commercial-grade 6-inch gutters and downspouts, making sure all stormwater is directed away from the home’s foundation.

Other areas of damage were to doors and windows, the wrought-iron gate, and the bottom surface of the shallow side of the pool. All doors and windows were replaced with Pella products, the gate sanded and painted, and the pool completely re-surfaced with Diamond Deck in Midnight Blue color.

And there is still work yet to be done - the photos will soon show new decorative chimney shrouds on the top of the chimneys, completed gutters, and a new insulated 9x8ft garage door.

One storm. One contractor.
